Overview

This is an independent contractor position in which you will receive a 1099 tax form at the end of the year, not a W-2. We will deduct no taxes from your wages they are your sole responsibility. Consult a tax professional if you require assistance determining the best setup for you. Additionally, since this is not an offer for hire our clients do not offer traditional employer benefits such as health insurance, retirement, etc. However, we do offer optional health plans, vision, dental, disability and other insurance offerings to all our amazing agents.

System Requirements

Basic requirements:

  • Windows 10 or 11
  • MacOS only accepted by some clients and generally must be a dual boot system
  • Wired Internet Connection (Wireless, Hotspot, Satellite, etc. is not permitted)
  • Wired Headset w/ Mic
  • Quiet Workspace free of as much background noise as possible

Costs

There are no costs to join us, however there are a few on-boarding costs you need to be aware of. First, you will be required prior to attending your first training class to complete a background check which costs $30. Some clients will also require a drug test but this is generally covered by the client. Lastly, you will be required to pay a refundable $20 fee to lock in your training slot. If you no show you lose the fee but completing your 1st day of training it is refunded to you within a few days.

Pay

This is what you are here for right? To get paid! Payments happen twice a month the exact day can slightly vary depending on client reconciliation but generally is the 7th and 22th. (Usually no more than 24-48 hours beyond.) From each pay period $40 will be deducted which covers the fee Arise charges us "Platform Fee" and our costs to operate, generate your invoices for you, and send you your payments electronically. We do not take any other costs/fees out of your pay nor shave anything off of the hourly wages you earn to make a profit. Many other IBOs charge up to $55 per pay period and/or other costs.

Training

Most clients run a 4 week training program. The first two weeks are classroom style live instructor led classes generally 4 hours a day. During this time you are not paid unfortunately. The next phase generally two weeks long you begin to take calls and receive feedback from the instructor. Your time on the phone here is paid. Once training is complete you setup your own schedule and off you go!
